Compared to most Landvættir, especially his age, Bahari is a small dragon. He is about twice the size of a large horse. But what he lacks in size he makes up for strength. His entire body is covered in thick muscles, with sharp claws and a powerful tail to use in combat if needed.
Bahari is a water landvættir, and has scales that are similar to fish: different shades of blue that glimmer when hit in the right angle. He takes pride in them, and even though he isn't a boastful dragon he does enjoy it when people compliment him on it.
Bahari is a curious dragon. Especially since called and brought to a different place that he never went to, he loved to look around and learn about everything. Sometimes just lying down and observing the world is enough, but sometimes he will actually move around to explore.
One thing Bahari does not enjoy is loud noise, and he gets easily spooked. When he's anxious or afraid, he will sometimes fly off in a hurry, and it will have to be up to his rider to find him and calm him down. He may be an old dragon, but he can act like a child a lot.
Bahari was born right by the shore, his birth protectorate being a small island a ways away from the mainland. Because of this, he is able to control the element of water. This means he can breathe underwater as well as manipulate water. His favorite thing to do is storing huge amounts of water and spraying it at people for fun. He is also an excellent fighter, with immense strength behind every attack. He fights mostly using his tail, claws and teeth.

» Dragon and rider share thoughts, feelings, and magic.
Bahari was born on a small island off the coast of Alluum (in reality it wasn't too small; it was able to house him perfectly). Of course his parents left him to fend for himself, so for a long time he was alone on his island, mostly surviving off fish. Sometimes he would fly to the mainland to hunt mammals as well. He never found a mate for him, but didn't really mind all that much. He enjoyed being by himself, spending most of his time swimming and sleeping.
When he was called to be bonded with a rider, it saddened him to leave his peaceful island. Luckily the ocean isn't too far from Evercrest, so he is able to fly down to it from time to time so he's not seperated from water for very long.
