anbri is the largest country on alksheist. it is covered almost entirely in mountains and is home to dwarves and skygge. minopia is its capital and many foreigners do not stray beyond its limits. the dwarves are highly intolerant of outsiders.
this body of water stretches between tatu and anbri. it is a very shallow sea and many ships dare not attempt the journey. even at high tide, the tips of underwater mountains poke through the ocean's surface. passage is impossible at low tide.
kaimo was once a prospering land that exported the finest cheeses in alksheist, but now the small, mountainous country is ruined by war. makeshift quilgbi fortresses have replaced villages and farms across the country. only the capital, dixie, is still held by the native fauns.
this body of water lies between kaimo's southern shore and the island of malia off of lexelle's northern coast. it is the deepest body of water on alksheist, its water concealing a trench of unknown depth.
it is the northermost sea in alksheist. while the planet does not have polar ice caps, the ocean of ice is pretty damn close to one. ships travelling these frigid waters must beware icebergs, creeping ice sheets and shallow seas.
oudnavi is the home to humans and vampires. it is an arid grassland spanning across two large islands and its soil is famously rich for many desirable minerals. while the other countries across alksheist have revoked fossil fuel usage, oudnavi still uses modern age technology. it works, any oudnavian will tell you.
this ominous sea gets its name from the mist that hangs close to the water at all times. it is the circle kaimo, seville, lexelle, egivelyn, anbri and zann make. like most of the bodies of water across alksheist, the sea of ghosts is rather shallow. at low tide, strange stone structures poke from above the mist. many ships that sail across the sea are never seen again.
this war-torn country is just west of zann. once the intellectual capital of alksheist, the small tundra country is now in complete ruins. quilgbi march across the land, killing or enslaving (and later eating) any humanoid in sight.
tatu is the most peaceful of all of the countries in alksheist. it is the home to centaurs and fairies and is renowned across alksheist for its excellent wines. the country is temperate and mountainous with many futuristic innovations to farming. all buildings are built in a traditional style; the current overlord does not allow for modern architecture.
zann is the most hostile country in alksheist. the current empress is hellbent on world domination and has turned the industrial country into a war machine. ballistic missiles and other weapons from the long-forgotten modern era are being used against seville and kaimo, causing a stir in nations around alksheist.
