the crusader tower is one of the towers on the outer wall. its exterior is weathered with age, but the inside is as modern as a several-thousand-year-old building can be. it is a clean tower with many places to train.
the intermediary tower is a humble concrete tower in the yard between the outer and inner walls. it is not a tall tower (and probably would never be described as a "tower" from an outsider), but most of it is underground. it is furnished modestly and is built to keep out the awful evercrest winters, so the intermediaries are usually toasty warm when there are a dozen feet of snow on the ground.
the vanguard tower is one of the towers on the inner wall. it is a very sporty tower--quite literally. vanguards take their training seriously, so there is plenty of room to strengthen up and sneak around. it is decorated by its students and mentors with plenty of silver tiger banners pinned to the walls.
